Suzi is a Service Designer with a background in digital, content strategy, journalism and education. She has outstanding skills in applying HCD principles to create experiences that captivate and activate audiences.
Suzi thinks big picture, and translates ambitious vision into achievable actions. She works with energy and integrity, combining skills in creativity, research, design and analysis to create impact.
Prior to design, Suzi was Digital Director at frankie magazine, led content and strategy at the Australian Education Union, and worked as an award-winning ABC journalist. Suzi has produced over 30 documentaries for ABC, SBS and NITV and copresented the weekly ABC News24 TV show ‘What’s your story?’
Suzi currently works as a Service Designer for the University of Melbourne, and as the UX Designer and Executive Producer on The Full Colour Project, a film and research project she founded that aims to embed safety, respect and inclusivity for LGBTIQA+ people at school and work.
Suzi’s early background was as a secondary school English teacher and media trainer. She has worked with diverse communities, running podcast masterclasses at Melbourne’s The Wheeler Centre and filmmaking workshops with dairy farmers in Mudgegonga, through to animation camps with Anmatyerre teenagers in Central Australia.
